Feb 16: Dakshina Kannada reports 19 fresh corona cases, Udupi records 12

Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 16: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 19 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 34,221. Out of these, 262 cases are currently active.

As many as 20 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,219.

A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,485, including 12 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 68 cases are currently active.

Over 3,51,841 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,28,356 have turned out negative.

As many as five patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 23,228.

A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.

    Now the new cases increasing everyday, people should be more alert, Public transport can be big spreader. Wearing Mask and use sanitizer should be compulsory.
