Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 13: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 18 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 34,169. Out of these, 301 cases are currently active.

A total of 5,43,183 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,09,014 are negative.

As many as 51 people were discharged on Saturday, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,128.

A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 32,092 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 33,30,070 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,450, including four fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 53 cases are currently active.

Over 3,49,335 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,25,885 have turned out negative.

As many as 12 patients were discharged on Saturday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 23,208.

A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
