Puttur, Feb 13: The inaugural mass and inauguration of Divya Chethana Association was organized at St Philomena PU College, here, on February 10 at Divya Chethana Chapel.

The correspondent, Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas was the main celebrant of the mass. Principal, Fr Vijay Lobo and Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta of the department of Commerce, PG Center and hostel warden participated as co-celebrants of the mass.

Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the correspondent read the Holy Bible and said that St Philomena PU College plays a vital role in the overall development of the students. He advised the students to take in good things and let out positive vibes.

Fr Vijay Lobo said that everyone should be thankful to God for saving us from the pandemic and prayed that we would lead lives without fear and that everything would come to normal again.

Philomena Monteiro, from the department of Commerce and coordinator of Divya Chethana Association, teaching and non-teaching staff members and students were present on the occasion.
