Feb 11: Dakshina Kannada reports 28 fresh corona cases, Udupi records 14

Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 11: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 28 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 34,118. Out of these, 332 cases are currently active.

A total of 5,40,206 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,06,088 are negative.

As many as 33 people were discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,046.

A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 31,690 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 32,90,370 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,431, including 14 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 50 cases are currently active.

Over 3,47,067 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,23,636 have turned out negative.

As many as eight patients were discharged on Thursday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 23,192.

A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
