Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 7: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 30 fresh coronavirus cases on Sunday raising the tally to 34,005. Out of these, 316 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,46,312 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,00,607 are negative.
As many as 27 people were discharged on Sunday, A total of 739 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 30,737 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 31,92,110 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,397 including five fresh cases on Sunday. Out of these, 51 cases are currently active.
Over 3,42,518 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,19,121 have turned out negative. As many as nine patients were discharged on Sunday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
