UAE Ministry of Health announces exclusive vaccination centres for elderly, vulnerable

Dubai, Feb 7: The Ministry of Health and Prevention in UAE has announced exclusive vaccination centres for elderly people and those with chronic diseases amid the rise in coronavirus infections.

This was done to ensure acquired community immunity in order to contain the disease.

In another announcement, the Ministry also maintained that over 4-6 weeks the vaccination will be focused on elderly people and those with chronic diseases who are the most vulnerable to Covid-19.

During this period, other segments of society may get vaccinated after a prior appointment with inoculation centres available across the nation.
