UAE Donates 700 Tonnes of Aid to Gaza


Cairo/Rafah, May 28 (IANS/WAM) About 700 tonnes of food and emergency medical aid from the UAE have been sent to the Gaza Strip to help mitigate the deteriorating humanitarian condition of the Palestinians.

The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) is carrying out the operation in coordination with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Palestinian Presidential Committee, the UAE Embassy in Cairo, Egyptian Red Crescent Society and Palestinian Red Crescent.

"This is UAE's fourth humanitarian convoy to Gaza," said UAE ambassador to Egypt, Mohammed Bin Nakheera Al-Dhaheri, at the seeing-off ceremony of a convoy of trucks in Cairo.

    Please donate some electricity power to Sharjah since lot of residence in sharjah are without electricity in this hot summer. people are suffering.
