Mangalore, May 14: The diamond jubilee celebration of Our Lady of Fatima, Tannirbavi, here was held on Thursday May 13. 

Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza concelebrated the thanksgiving Holy Mass with Tannirbavi parish priest Fr Sunil Kumar D’Souza among other priests.

 



















 





















Bishop inaugurated the newly-built bell tower at Tannirbavi parish to mark the diamond jubilee celebrations. 

Bishop Dr Aloysius presided over the stage programme held after the Holy Mass at the parish hall.  He also honoured the priests who served at the Tannirbavi parish in the past and also the donors for contributing towards the construction of bell tower.   

Fr Stany Goveas released the diamond jubilee commemorating bulletin. Tannirbavi parish council secretary Felix D’Souza gave a brief history of Tannirbavi parish.   

Fr Sunil Kumar D’Souza welcomed the gathering.  Parish council vice president Clifford Lobo proposed vote of thanks.  Zina Coelho and Wilma D’Souza compered the programme.  

City Episcopal vicar Fr Stany Goveas, Father Muller’s Charitable Institutions chaplain Fr Apolinaris Crasta, Panambur circle inspector Valentine D’Souza, youth Congress district president Arun Coelho, Karnataka Fisheries Board chairman Ramachandra Baikampady and Congress minority district president Moideen were present.
