Dear ISMAIL K PERINJE, PERINJE/YANBU-KSA,

Tell me one person or leader in India whom we all have elected till date who is not corrupt or did not have a criminal background? Compared to the criminal records politicians have whom we have elected and selected to be in parliament, Modi has done no wrong! I'am supporting Lalit Modi because he is dynamic, smart, young, youth icon, and innovative. He was brave enough to take on the government by shifting IPL 2 to SA. All these qualities of him made many enemies who were jealous of his success. Just see our new IPL Commissioner, do you think his size will ever be atleast 10% energetic as Mr. Modi?

Where did Kapil Dev stole this idea from? It was not his own idea. He took this idea from age old county cricket in England. Thats the impact Modi had on IPL as compared to Kapil on ICL. No offense intended for our legendary Kapil Dev. Few people are born administrators or leaders - like Lalit K Modi. I truly hope he will bounce back!

One sensible comments from Roshan, m'bidri/a'dhabi for this article..Cricket crazy people of India forget the man behind the game, the great KAPIL DEV and support the game for BCCI rather protest to bring Dev into the Board by stoping cricket brand products and stop pay-visit to stadiums.. & we should try to promote others games of international importance, reduce cricket craze please!!!

Whether modi had drugs or was in prison in US as a student is not a concern. dont bring up the past. All the millionaires havnt made money by honest means. He saved the country from a kochi franchise which would have been run by dawood. Would have got all the 11 players from pakistan to play in india.

Some comments down here praising modi and his IPL, sorry to say but he stole the whole, idea from kapil dev's ICL. Whole credit honour goes to kapil, BCCI backed modi but not our worldcup hero kapil that's it.

How can you support and endorse corrupt man like Modi!Nobody in Duniya inevitable!He may be a good adminstrator but.......

Is he a trustworthy? a responsible man?a good manager?He made enough money and don't care for his chair.Sooner or later he would be lodged bihind bar.

A drug convict,SWAJANA PAKSHA PATHI,jealousy man like him can not be a COO of gentleman's game.He twitted Kochi IPL's franchises details leaving behind other new and old IPL franchise's details- is it a mtured man's behaviour?He is too childish to head IPL COO.

INDIA/CRICKET don't want illgotten money which may ultimately wipe out the main essence of cricket.IPL lost it's RING LEADER but certainly it paves the way for cleaning bad element in cricket.

By the by Mr Chirayu Amin belongs to Pawar group and BCCI is PawarPawar is BCCI.We need democracy and transperancy in IPL and BCCI alike.

I agree with Ahmed for some extent, What happened to Lalith is that success has gone to his head and he forgot that he was staying in the glass house and shown his oversmartness, as far as Tharoor is concerned, politically he is a small BACHHA still in the nursery class.

It is one of the saddest moments for Indian Cricket removing Mr Modi as its chief. He put all his brains and made this tournament such a big successful. As a north Indian he wanted Ahmedabad to win as the 10th team but by bad luck Kochi got the chance and all the controversy started. But the IPL is running behind only money. In his concluding speach Mr Modi said he was very happy to see many young talents who came into limelight due to IPL.

If he really would have concerned about the new talents he would not have forced ICC to ban the players who played ICL (the Kapil Dev run). He just wanted to be a sole responsible for the cricket success in India and it happened in three years but he lost his game. Now I request Mr Modi to join some other governing body of other sports especially IHF (Indian Hockey Federation) and start IHL (Indian Hockey League) with the same IPL format including foreign players allow to play so that Indian Hockey will improve.If you do this Mr. Modi sure you will be our next BHARAT RATNA. Come on Mr. Modi, Leave cricket behind and jump to HOCKEY.

Modi has been one of the outstanding administrator in the era of Indian Cricket. Nobody should take the credit of successful IPLs apart from Modi. Entire BCCI was against him, but he did not budge. Shows his strong character. He was young, dynamic and may be making money which is usual in India. His growth everyday was a thorn in the eyes of old administrators of BCCI. But sad part about the whole IPL fiasco is we have lost two youth leaders - Tharoor & Modi.
Henceforth get ready to see the old huge bald belly IPL administrators who will not be able to walk properly!! Modi himself triggered his fall. But hats off to you Lalit Kumar Modi. You are a true administrator and proud father of IPL!!
