I am grieved to hear the sad news about the death of my dear friend and a schoolmate and I know him since our school carrier. His loss is immense and I don’t know how to express myself on such an occasion. We were in the theatre artistes and acted in various Dramas and it took me some time when I heard of the sad news of his demise. Recollection of the past will inspire the work he stood for of good work.
I pray to God for peace to his soul.

I met Mr Ganiga when 'Ranga Bhoomi-Upupi' and 'Udayavani' had organised the first all India Level Konkani Drama Competition (1989) in which I had taken part with my drama 'Parath Eik Pavtim' which later won many awards including the Best Paly and Direction. That was the most happy time of my life and also proudest moment too as a dramatist. THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE OF MR. GANAIGA'S SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT to an unknown person like me. I found in him a humble person, full time dedicated to the promotion of art and drama. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May God gime them strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
