Yeddy has No Guts to Remove Reddys, says Siddaramaiah

Mangalore, Apr 21 (DHNS): Even though many criminal cases including illegal mining scam are pending against Reddy brothers, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa does not dare to ask for their resignation, Leader of the Oppostion in the Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah said here on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference he said criminal cases are also pending against ministers Renukacharya, Muru- gesh Nirani and others. However, CM is not ready to drop them from the ministry, he added.

Discussing the power crisis in the State, Siddaramaiah said Yeddyurappa, former Energy Minister Eshwarappa and BJP General Secretary Ananth Kumar were “cheating” people by giving erroneous figures regarding power supply. Ananth Kumar’s allegations of UPA government denying power to State from central grid is far from truth.

“As per the Gadgil Committee recommendations, the Centre can supply only 1498 - 1546 MW power to the State. The Centre has not shown any kind of discrimination that the power is being supplied from Central grid according to the Gadgil Committee recomm- endations,” he said.

“As Parliament member, Ananth Kumar never raised the State’s power crisis in the Lok Sabha, he said.

Siddaramaiah said he personally met Union Energy Minister Susheel Kumar Shinde and collected statistics which showed that the Central government had not discriminated against the State.

We just say politicians are criminals. But it is really sad to mention, that these very leaders were elected by our own people.Until and unless we stop casting our vluable Votes to criminlas, it is highly impossible to put an end to this type of Menace happening in the Government. Mr. yeddy has no voice because he has no majority. It is wake up call to the general public and think Wisely before you Vote.People make blunders and just cannot ask for President Rule.It is not that cheap.

Mr. Vazir, BJP can not justify its stand against illegal mining with an excuse that Congress did not take action during its rule in Karnataka. One thing is clear that these 'appas' are never concerned about common peoples, but, busy in looting Karnataka with all their might.

Just to be in limelight he will raise Reddy, mining, Cow slaughter issue otherwise one day people will ask who is this old man !!!!

Why should Yeddy remove Reddys? Why didn't Congressmen take action against Reddys or their great Congress protector & business partner, Late Y S R Reddy, who used to be Sonia Gandhi's blue-eyed boy or later when Deve Gowda-Kumaraswamy launched a campaign against Reddys, illegal mining & encroachment of forest areas as well as Andhra Pradesh borders, destruction of a temple across within AP borders?

The UPA regime should have checked all illegal mining. It was only after Rosaiah became CM that AP started investigations into illegal mining but UPA did not support the move fully. Congressmen could have taken action when Karnataka was under President's Rule. But they slept & now they want Yeddy to act against Reddys. It is like the Lion expecting a toothless Tiger to save itself merely because Shashi Tharoor had to be sacked due to his girl-friend & other backroom deals or Twittering. Well, pot cannot call the kettle black.

Langoolacharya, Belman/USA seems to know lot of inner politics of congress but does he know that Yedyurappa also approached JDS when he was being sidelined in BJP.

If you take the list of unfits in BJP government it starts from the Chief Minister himself. He is not able to control any of the government departments and failed miserably in administration. He has to ask for the permission of Reddys whenever he wants to transfer any of the officials.

What a misery? Karnataka might not seen such a unorganised government in the history of independent India.

    Mr. Lagool Acharya Belman/USA

Whoever are in the opposition they will speak double, irrespective of any party.

Here the subject is Yeddy can't remove Reddy's.

My point is, Yeddi can't even go against Renukacharya because he is the main rebellion and dissident king within BJP.

So Yeddi is still batting on sticky wicket and hence we cannot expect a long innings.

    Siddu,

    Nice double speak.

Renukacharya is unfit to be in cabinet?

    Absolutely, i agree.

Then why did Dr Oscarji and Mr Gulam Nabhi Azadji called Mr Renukacharya to Delhi and promised him ministership if he help to topple state govt, few months back?

He is unfit to be in BJP govt but fit to be in Con govt, well said.

To prevent this Yediyurappa had no other choice but to make Renu a cabinet minister.

Please take copy of legislative records and see what all you have said about congress and its leaders, when you were in other side, if Sonia reads it fully, she will be very proud of you!!!
