It is nice to hear that Fr. Valerian has built the church as well as the english medium school.Congratulation. We need the pastors who can build the community by healing wound and not the builders of church and schools with stones and bricks. Prepare spiritual leaders who heal the wound and build the community.

Congratulations Fr. Valerian for completing the House of God in such a short time. In such a small village to put up such a big church by a small number of parishioners is really a achievement and is commendable. Sorry we could not be a part of celebration but our hearty wishes and congratulations to all our parishioners.

Congartulations all the parisheners !! finaly Lord Blessed, Ajekar parish got new church which was a one and half decade old dream, when I was serving for karkala Varado youth, then the P.P. Fr.Luwis used to discuss with us (when the Hirgan church came to existence ) with this message to Catholics, build the church in heart not on ground , be more generous and serve your felow follower, leave the hatred towards another brother and bring back the same name/ fame once we had in Dhakshina Kannada .

Dear Rev. Fr Valerian Fernandes, Fr Kiran, Vice president Mr Maurice Tauro and the parish community of Ajekar, hearty congrtulations on your great achievement of building a new church in a remote place like Ajekar. It is a joint effort ans shows the unity and brotherhod that is existing in Ajekar. Indeed, Fr Valerian, you are the real man/brain behind this great work. You have worked wonders in that place for the past 8 years, of course with the strong support of your parish community. The long dream of the parishoners of Ajekar finally realized. God bless you all. May the sacred heart of Jesus work many more wonders in the years to come.
Thanks to Daiji for the good coverage.

Shahnawaz kukkikatte, dubai/udupi Your words are very encouraging. May your wishes come true. Usually the Catholic Church has an obligation towards its followers for their spiritual development and hence has to have a good church. It has an obligation towards their education and hence school. It also takes care of their welfare and hence hospital, orphanages etc. While the church is basically meant for the Catholics, the schools, hospitals, orphanages are supposed to be for everyone irrespective of their religious background. Thank you once again for your good comments. You have made my day!

My dear Christian brothers and sisters. Congratualtions. Please keep going and continue to the good work you have been doing all these days no matter whatever the obstacles. It is marvellous to hear that the small village of Karkala Taluk Ajekar got a good and big church which is a landmark in the history of Ajekar. I appreciate the work done by the priest and beloved catholics of Ajekar. Keep it up and go for further religious and social developments in the vicinity and in the midst of non-catholics.
