Kuwait, Oct 1: It is exactly one month since history was created on YouTube as a record 67 videos were premiered on September 1, 2020 as part of Chris-Armand Presentation’s 'GLOBAL GOENCHO AVAZ' singing competition.
YouTube has long emerged as the global TV station, the living room for the world. But Konkani viewers have most likely never seen such a flurry of videos released at one go.
Avaz, avaz, avaz!!! There has been only one avazon the net and social media since then – 'GLOBAL GOENCHO AVAZ'. The videos presented include artistes of all genre and a variety of songs on different subjects with solos, duets, trios, etc.
The success behind this massive program is credited to Armand D’Sousa based in UK and his team of global coordinators. According Shri Armando and his brother Chris D’Sousa - founders of Chris-Armand Presentation(CAP), the contest is purely organized for the love of Konkani and Goan culture.
How to watch the videos:
Anyone with an internet connection can watch the videos and enjoy the songs. Likes, dislikes and comments are open while comments that break the house rules will have no place whatsoever. The competition ends at midnight of December 22, 2020.

Winners and prizes:
There are three top prizes at stake based on the highest number of views that include CAP member votes which count to 1000 views for each vote. A prize for the best music is also up for grabs. A number of other incentives are also up for grabs and a chance to enter into CAP’s various global promo programs. The first prize is a specially made CAP Gold Medal while other prizes would be cash in Indian rupees.
