Dubai, Apr 5: Billawa Balaga Dubai organized Shree Satya Narayana Pooja and Katha at Karama Centre Hall, Dubai on Friday 2nd April, 2010, for seeking the blessings of Lord Narayana for the betterment of all. More than 450 devotees from all over UAE attended the pooja to seek the divine blessing. The families of Ashok Anchan, Daya Kirodian and Dinesh Poojary performed the rituals of the pooja on behalf of all the Billawas in UAE. Several families and bachelors also offered the pooja during this ceremony.

Apart from seeking divine blessing the pooja was conducted as a symbol of thanks giving for all the blessings received during the year. Shri Bujangarayru performed the pooja vidhi in traditional Kannada culture. The Pooja started with a prayer to Lord Ganesha followed by Panchamritam and chanting of names of Satyanarayana and offering of Prasad to the lord.

Satyanaraya Katha was recited to all devotees who had come for self-purification and self-surrender at the lotus feet of Hari. The Katha is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his manifestation as Lord Satyanarayan. The pooja started at 6:30 PM and the Maha Aarati was performed at 9:30 PM followed by distribution of Prasadam and Anna Santharpane.

A special photo of Supreme Lord Shri Shri Aishwaryaishwara which was designed by Ganesh Rai was distributed to about 120 devotees who had offered for Pooja. The photo symbolized Lord Shri Shri Aishwaryaishwara bestowing infinite and bountiful treasures on Shri Kubera and Shri Mahalakshmi.

Members from Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi attended the Pooja in large numbers in a specially arranged bus. Prominent members from most of the communities from coastal Karnataka attended the event to seek the divine blessing.
