Mumbai, Apr 3: “Lord Jesus has relieved us from all bondages. His love is everlasting" said Fr Johnson Menezes, ICYM director of Vasai Diocese while preaching the Good Friday Homily at the premises of St Michaels Church, Manickpur, Vasai here on April 2.
The ceremonies commenced at 6.30 pm. The parish priest Fr John Froz delivered the introductory address. Assistant parish priest Fr Andrew Rodrigues led the ceremonies. Fr Tony Lopes, Fr Vijay Colaco assisted in the ceremonies.
On the occasion, the parish priest also honoured the members of Shradda Parivar, a NGO that works for the mentally retarded people.
Thousands of people took part in the ceremony. Parish priest Fr John Froz proposed the vote of thanks.
