The Witness - Musical Play Held at St Joseph Church Ground

Mumbai, Mar 14: ‘The Witness’, a musical play based on the life of Christ, was organized by Joe Cardo and group at St Joseph’s Church ground on Saturday March 13.

Bishop Bosco Penha was the chief guest. Fr Dominic Vas, parish priest of St Joseph’s Church welcomed the gathering.



Parishioners of Mira road were all occupied in the thrilling extravaganza. The music created a different atmosphere which dazzled the crowd.

On the occasion, Bishop Bosco felicitated the Mira-Bhyandar mayor, Tulsidas Mahtre and the deputy mayor Stephen John Mendonca.

The show ended with all the people holding a lighted candle as a sign of Pentecost experience and received blessings from Bishop Bosco. As many as 2000 faithful attended the programme.

    This is really Faith Enriching experience... they have changed over the years.. now its become an interactive play and not a performance any more...
