Mumbai, Mar 8: Nadoja Dr Hampa Nagaraj released ‘Prof Shankar Mokashi Punekar’ book, authored by Dr Ganesh N Upadhya, head of department of Kannada, Mumbai University and published by Bangalore-based Nava Karnataka Publications here at Mysore Association auditorium, Matunga (East) on Sunday March 7.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hampa Nagaraj said that it’s essential that whoever attempts to write a book should have deep sense of humanity. Meanwhile, the book ‘Prof Shankar Mokashi Punekar’ is ideal for students which can serve for references. He also commended the achievement of an individual was immortalized through a literary work.
Prof Kamala Hampa Nagaraj, Mysore Association president V Ramabhadra and Narayan Navilekar were present on the dais. The author Dr Ganesh N Upadhya read the foreword of the book.
