Hello Maxim, Thanks for your free but unecessary advice. Upon contacting MCC I was told that this would be an exclusive troupe with no locals. I have participated in various stage shows in Mumbai before coming to Qatar and I know my caliber. May be you should start from those local shows or the shower... Thank you

Thank you MCC for inviting Raymond D'Souza to Doha. You are THE FIRST Konkani organisation in the entire world to invite him and honour for his achievement. A quiet and soft spoken person who has come up by his own efforts to get the title of "Mr. World" should have been promoted much earlier. At least you have done it now, better late than never.HOPE SOME MORE ORGANISATION WILL COME FORWARD TO HONOUR HIM A GREAT PERSONALITY

Good work MCC-Qatar, This man 'Raymond' deserves such kind of appreciation. A quiet and soft spoken person who has come up by his own efforts to get the title of "Mr. World" should have been promoted much earlier. At least you have done it now, better late than never. Perhaps he is known as Mr. World only to Mangalore and some parts of South Kanara, coz that is the kind of support the Sports Authority of India gives. He got the award in 1990 and now we are in 2010, two decades? Look at him in the pose he has given how he has maintained his body. Hats off to you Mr. Raymond, keep going.

'Louis, no need to sing and dance in the shower or write to Daiji. Just contact MCC committee personally (they are very easy to find) or by phone (their phone nos.are everywhere) and participate in its various programs like the Talent Competitions, Mangalorean Day, Monti Fest celebrations etc...etc...like hundreds of Mangaloreans do every year.

Best for you, every year MCC has its Talent Competitions in May, which is close by. My advise is don't listen to Charlie, who is new to Doha and might not know much about MCC, but ernestly prepare for the competitions in singing (with your guitar), dancing, skit, fancy dress etc..etc. like I do. Hope to see you on stage soon.

thank you MCC for inviting Raymond D'Souza to Doha. You are FIRST Konkani organisation in the entire world (Outside India) to invite him and honour for his achievement. Last year Tulu Koota Dubai honoured him, but no single Konkani organisations have felicitated him unitil now. It is really shame.

I think when Raymond became Mr World, there was NO daijiworld then, otherwise I am sure all the associations around the world would have invited him.

Thank you once again for your thoughtful decission.

Finally some one in Doha, decided to honour the pride of Mangalore - Mr World Raymond Dsouza. All these years, I have been NOT attending Konkani events in Doha because of various political reasons, but all of them were following on daijiworld. This time, I am there to attend the event, I am so happy to read the news that, Raymond is coming to Doha. Encouragement given by Mangalore Club to Raymond will be inspirtation to budding bodybuilders and sports persons. This is how an organisation can play vital role in promoting talent. Good going, waiting for Apr 9

Raymond has brought honour not only to himself but also for Mangalore.

    Kudos to you Ray.
