Mumbai: Narcotics worth Rs.27 Million Seized

Mumbai, March 6 (IANS) The Mumbai Police Saturday seized drugs worth Rs.27 million here and arrested 16 people in this connection, an official of the anti-narcotics cell said.

Sleuths of the anti-narcotics cell raided a location at Sion in central Mumbai and netted hashish weighing 900 kg and marijuana weighing 90 kg, he said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The police also arrested a gang of 16 people dealing in narcotics.
