Deve Gowda Instigating Farmers: CM

Deve Gowda Instigating Farmers: CM

Bangalore, Feb 24 (DHNS) :
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Tuesday accused JD(S) leader and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda of inciting farmers against the BJP government in a bid to vitiate the law and order in the State.

Addressing a press conference in Bangalore, Yeddyurappa accused Gowda of levelling baseless charges against the State government to create hurdles for development.

He blamed Gowda of being indirectly responsible for Tuesday’s attack by some locals on Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) officials at Chikkagollarahati off Magadi Road in Bangalore.

He said Gowda was misleading the public by stating that 1.82 lakh acres had been acquired for land banks.  Only 43,854 acres had been acquired by the KIADB, that too with the consent of the farmers. The Government is ready to discuss the issues threadbare, he said.

If someone as common as Nagesh Nayak knows Deve Gowda`s real motive, why is Yeddy still finding it difficult to take actions against Gowda? dont we all know the saying "Hand in Glove".

Guru/Mangalore, I have to laugh and brush off your comments. I feel pity on your ignorance. Minority is a term used by Indian constitution for the people other faiths, other than hindus. Here nobody talked about the reservation and your comments like Nagesh Nayak has no relevance to the issue and you simply want to drag reservations issue here just to divert the attention.

Secondly in a country other than his own, no foreginer can press for reservations. In Australia even Indian chrsitians cant ask for reservation aand in Gulf countries no Indian muslim can press for reservation as we all are considred as guest workers/residents of a foreign country. In our own country we can fight for our rights and no body can deny us our dues.

I see all your comments and one is similar in all the case and that is "minorities" can you please explain what does minority stands for?

People who has talent they dont ask for reservation in the name of minority . you have the freedom to give ur best in all the fields if you are talented enough then i dont think any1 requires reservation.

Only when u are scared that you dont get good marks, or u dont get jobs then the reservation comes to play.

You speak about secular india and now u say minority and majority.. do you think hindus staying in dubai or UAE or usa should fight for minortiy reservation over there.. if they do so you know govt over there will throw them out..

Go to australia and fight for reservation against indians, that time i will surely salute you ..

Think about it ... Jai Ho India.. Mera Bharath Mahan.

If farmers agitate, then Deve Gowda is instigating them. If minorities get to the street, then Congress is instigating them. If environmentalists hit the roads, litterateurs, pseudos instigating them! When the places of worship are attacked, the opposition is playing political game! But if Sri Ram Sene, VHP or any RSS organizations take law into hands or call for bundh, it is justified saying that they do it out of frustration! Does this mean Yeddy government is a lame duck and can only indulge in blame game? If the government cannot control instigators, whoever it is, however powerful they are, why should we have such a government?

Apart from indulging in blame-game, what has been Yeddy government's achievement in last two years? Apart from promises and announcements, what has been the contribution of this government in the last two years? Initially Yeddy said they had to do undo a lot things which earlier Congress govts did and they need sometime to settle down. He even went on to state that Congress contribution in last 60 years is nill and that BJP govt needed to start everything from scratch. And lol! They are still 'scratching! What is the break-even period for this govt? Do they still need time and if yes time for what? To settle the disputes within the govt and party, to appease the RSS brigade, to blame the earlier govts and opposition? At this pace, BJP will need more than 60 years to start which is more than the incompetant Congress itself!!

Shahnawaz you hit the nail right on its head. The politicians always speak in 2 languages with 2 tongues. There is one yard stick for them & other for others. Do u remember in good olden days local businessmen using 2 measures one to purchase & one to sell(Rama-to purchase, Laxmana-to sell).

Deve Gowda is number one culprit in the case of NICE, as he was one prime person responsible for the act. He was one who passed signed the agreement & now oppose when the question to hand over arises. Anyway now as per court order, the land as per deed has to be transfered & opposition by Devegowda means only his opposition to court verdict.

Dear CM Sahab, Yes I agree Devegowda is instigating farmers by misinformation against your govt and you didnt like it. But your party and its parivar is instigating fundamentalists and other ignorant followers against minorities and causing them harm. Would you then justify this act? Devegowda didnt create law and ourder situation but your govt did it. Could you please explain your double standards and double yard stick to the people of karnataka. You have grown old but you are not matured my friend....
