Dubai: Karnataka Sangha Announces Exciting Calendar of Events

Dubai, Feb 23: Karnataka Sangha with its presence here for 25 long years and as a part of the silver jubilee celebrations will hold several exciting events all through the year 2010.
Dart Tournament, Silver Jubilee Dart Cup will be held at At Ramee Royal Hotel, off Maktoum Bridge, Bur Dubai on Friday March 9. A full-day event, the tourney is open to all dart lovers with buffet brunch. Registration is free for members and is open till 11 am. Another exciting event lined up is dance competition, Silver Jubilee Dance Cup, a mega group dancing event on Friday May 7. The event is open to all the associations of the state. The winners will get a chance to perform in the Rajyotsava programme in November. DID dancing sensation from the state will be the chief guest. The most interesting and exciting event of the year is a cookery contest – children’s programme to be held on October 15. The venue and further details will be announced soon.

These apart, Rajyotsava – 2010 to be held on November 5 with special attraction, orchestra troupe from Bangalore will perform “Silver Jubilee Musical Nite” and also performance to be p[resented by the Silver Jubilee Dance Cup winners, runners-up as well as local talents.
