Mr.Melwyn, you have raised a valid point by pointing out that SMKC is not a Mangalorean community. I totally agree with you.But you totally forgot that it is SAINT MARY'S KONKAN COMMUNITY (not Catholic community)! Every community has its own association even the Goan's have one.Every year membership is open from picnic day to easter. Even this year too it was annonced during the picnic, unfortunately (?) so called mangaloreans have filled their membership forms and submitted to the Spiritual Director. Why cant people like you join and share the responsibilities of SMKC in serving the community better? Change can happen at any time/anywhere, from anyone , why not from you???????

    Dear all,
SMKC is not Mangalorean community, but its Konkani community. Udupi, Kundapura, Karwar, Goa, Mumbai and rest of the India all Catholic people are staying and workign in Dubai. We can see SMKC mainly serving Mangalorean community. Then whay that SMKC name..Change for SMM(Mangalorean)C . SMKC team mailny has only mangalorean people and never tried to build up good relation between Karwar, Goa and Mumbai and rest of the region catholics. We can see the same with all community. Isn't it domination with only one area.
