Marathons are a great incentive not only for the participants but also for the cause on which the Marathon is created. In the United States Maerathons are sponsored by major Companies with substantial donations, and also participants create their own sponsors who come up with their own donations for the cause. Most of the Marathons are won by the Ethipians or Kenyans who have a God blessed athletic talent in them. One of our son is also a Marathon runner and we are very proud of him. Couple of years ago when a 26 mile Marathon was taking place in Houston one of elderly ladies in her sixties took part in the Marathon, while her son who is an Astranaut was orbitting in the sky on the space shuttle. The Astranaut congratulated his mother from the space ship to the earth. Congratulations to the organizers of the Marathon. Mangalore is always on the right track of progress. Keep it up.
