Mumbai, Feb 19: The Governor of Maharashtra, K Sankaranarayanan, on Friday February 19, garlanded the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Shivaji Park, here, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj, which is celebrated as ‘Shiv Jayanti’ in the state.



Deputy Chief Minister, Chhagan Bhujbal, and the city mayor, Shraddha Jadhav, also offered floral tributes to Shivaji Maharaj on this occasion.
