Konkani speaking natives of Mangalore and Goa settled in the metro thronged their respective parishes, to attend the special Holy Mass on Ash Wednesday. A large number of devotees attended the Holy Masses in various churches across the metro with a view of committing themselves to introspect on reformed living.
The joining in The Ways of the Cross by the faithful during the lent also rejuvenates the spirituality, as it gives an opportunity to ponder over the past and commit them for better spiritual living.
