Siddi Vinayaka Santacruz Wins Okkaliga Championship Trophy

Mumbai, Feb 16: Kalabaireshwar Okkaliga Sangha Mulund organized Okkaliga Cricket Championship Trophy at Sambaji Maidan located at Mulund (East) here, recently. The event was held under the joint aegis of Okkaliga Sangha Maharashtra and Sri Adi Chunchanagiri Seva Samiti. 
 


Sri Siddi Vinayaka cricket team from Santacruz bagged the first place by winning cash award of Rs 20,000 and championship trophy.  Okkaliga Sangha Mulund bagged the second place by winning cash award of Rs 10,000 and trophy.  Man of the series award was also presented.
 
Over 15 teams competed in the championship trophy. Okkaliga Sangha Maharashtra and Sri Adi Chunchanagiri Seva Samiti, Jayalaxmi Co-operative Credit Society heads Narayan R Gowda, Rangappa Gowda, K Raje Gowda and other Okkaliga community veterans presented the trophies to the winners.
 
Kalabaireshwar Okkaliga Sangha Mulund heads Basavaraj Gowda, Tammaiah Gowda, Tejas Gowda, Krishne Gowda, Devaraj Gowda, Ravi Kumar N Gowda and Shridar Gowda among others were present.
