JAVAAB Holds Annual Get-together

Mumbai, Feb 15:
The thirteenth annual get-together of Juhu Andheri Versova Ville Parle Association of Bunts (JAVAAB) was held at Green Acres, Lokhandwala Gardens, Andheri (West), here recently.
 

 

The dignitaries were ceremoniously welcomed to the stage in the Tulunadu tradition, with the contemporary music of trumpet and native musical instruments. JAVAAB president, Anand P Shetty and other office bearers inaugurated the programme.
 
Cultural programmes were performed by children and ladies of the association. Yakshagana was also organized on the occasion.Tulunadu traditional delicacies were served to all, which was prepared by Manish Caterers, owned by JAVAAB former office bearer Vaman S Shetty. The speciality of the programme was that people who attended it were also in their traditional attire.

Prior to the stage programme, a procession of Bhandar which is a custom of Tulunadu legacy for the native daity was held.

 JAVAAB vice president Papillion Raghu L Shetty, secretary C V Shetty, treasurer Ramesh N Shetty, joint secretary Madhukar Shetty, joint treasurer Vijay N Shetty, JAVAAB founder president Divakar M Shetty, cultural committee president Shankar T Shetty, membership committee president B Shivaram Naik , former  president N C Shetty, JAVAAB former presidents B Vivek Shetty, Ramesh U Shetty, lawyer Anand V Shetty, executive committee members Ashok S Shetty, D K Shetty, Gunakar D Shetty, Harish N Shetty, chartered accountant I R Shetty, J V Shetty, Jayaprakash Shetty, Mohan S Shetty, Nagesh N Shetty, Dr Prabhakar Shetty B, Ratnakar V Shetty, Satish Bhandary, Dr Sudhakar G Shetty, Dr Vachan Shetty, Vaman Shetty and Vishwanath Hegde  among others  were present.
