SCAV Organize Get-together for Senior Citizens

Mumbai, Feb 14: Senior Citizen Association Vakola (SCAV) organized get-together for senior citizens here, recently.

The met was attended by more than 125 senior citizens. Celebrations began with the thanksgiving mass offered by Fr Michael Cardoza from St Mary’s Parish, Dubai followed by songs, dance, games and lot of other entertainments.


 

SCAV was founded three months ago by Helen D’Silva and Hariboy from Vakola with a vision of serving senior citizens. In a span of three months, the organization has arranged picnics and such other activities to perk up the senior citizens. The organization intends to do much more for the senior citizens.

Helen D’Silva, president welcomed the gathering and introduced office-bearers, Molly Menezes, Prescilla Menezes, Jessi D’Silva, Nathaline and others. Children, youth and few other members of the organization entertained the audience with old melodies and dance. Hariboy sand song.

The programme ended with the hymn for the patron of Holy Family.
