Bahrain: KDPA Holds Free Eye Care, Thyroid Detection Camp

Bahrain, Feb 9: Kasargod District Pravasi Association (KDPA) conducted free eye care and thyroid detection camp  at  Al Hilal  Hospital  at Muharraq here, recently.

Dr Saji Giridhar, chief executive officer, Al Hilal hospital   inaugurated the camp. Indian Embassy charge D’Affairs Ajay Kumar, CCIA president John Iype, Rajukallupuram, president of overseas cultural congress visited the camp and appreciated the efforts taken by KDPA. 


 

As many as 300 members attended  the camp. Satish Edneer president of KDPA welcomed Daijiworld.com and told them that the main  aim  of the association  is to run social activities to help the  members  and Indian community. KDPA is an year old and voluntary non-profit organization formed by non-resident Indians from Kasargod   district.

KDPa also extends help humanitarian, social and community causes, thus representing vibrant society and achieve a milestone on the road of humanitarian and social activities.

The doctors of Al Hilal Hospital and staff put in their efforts and helped for the smooth conduct of the camp.
