Mangalore, Jan 23: Former cricketer Vinod Kambli inaugurated Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAPL) organized IAP League cricket tournament at Yenapoya University grounds on Friday January 22. Seven teams of physiotherapists from all over the country vied for the M V Shetty Cup. 

Vinod Kambli faced a bowling attack by Yenapoya University vice chancellor prof Sayyed Akhil Ahmed, thus inaugurating thr floodlit tourney open. Kambli, the natural entertainer he is, did not disappoint the audience. The audience whole-heartedly lapped up the mimicry presented by the cricketing star, particularly his take on Sachin Tendulkar. The act drew huge round of applause.





























Kambli also spent some hours with the physiotherapists at the ground and shared his experiences on cricket. The tournament was organized as part of 48th annual conference of IAP and the team participated comprised delegates to the conference from all over the nation. 

Prof U T Iftikar Ali, organizing secretary of 48th IAP annual conference, Dr Ali Irani, president of IAP and Dr M R Shetty, chariman of Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust among others were also present.
