Daijiworld.com Steps into 10th Year...

Dear readers,
With new thoughts, good wishes and humble gratitude, we are stepping into yet another year. As we look back it is a pleasant feeling that Daijiworld webportal completes nine years of existence! Everything turned out well for us, of course with the support from all our readers, advertisers and dedicated staff / team worldwide. As we have stepped into the decennial year, we have more challenges in hand, and more innovation in the pipeline.
Looking Back with Pride
When we look back, there have been several people, individuals as well as organizations through backing us have brought us at the heights we are today. Though it is impossible to name them all, our sincere gratitude is always with them. On January 14, 2001 what was started by me as my hobby, now after nine years has grown into a venture that has helped us support the needy families, providing direct and fulltime employment to over 30 people, and about 200 plus freelancers. We are proud that, our appeals on daijiworld.com for needy people have brought in over Rs 2.5 crores that reached the recipients directly without any interference from the middlemen. This work of our’s no doubt will continue, but also will be accelerated.
In 2006, for the first time from Mangalore we tried bringing video clips to our viewers worldwide through our 'tv daijiworld', internet television concept. Our dedicated video team has put in lots of efforts to make this happen. Very soon we will bring in live events from Mangalore. The trial run is already underway in this regard. With this, our readers/viewers who are away from Mangalore will be able to watch events live from Mangalore.
Daijiworld Weekly, weekly print magazine, our new baby has started picking-up its pulse through out India. Under the able leadership of its editor-in-chief Hemacharya, we are sure that weekly will be a household name soon. We seek your similar support to the venture too. The copies are now available on the newsstands and through postal subscription in districts Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Bangalore in the state as well outside states such as Mumbai in Maharashtra, Goa and other parts of India. It has its reach in Gulf countries such as Doha, Dubai, Muscat, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Awards and Recognition
We are happy that, our efforts and social commitments have been appreciated by many and in the last nine years several organizations have bestowed honour and awards on us. This has been realized only due to the efforts of our dedicated team members to whom we bestow all the honours without giving credit to any particular individuals. On our ninth year we received IIPP Star of the year -09, and Rachana Entrepreneur of the Year - 09. While we thank the organizations for faith showed on us, we convey our sincere gratitude to all our readers and well wishers who sent in their messages through website, e-mails, phone, and SMSs. These honours are nothing but motivation to work harder.

From now onwards, those who wish to place small advertisements like Matrimonial, Classifieds, Property Classifieds, Sponsored Greetings, Tribute of Love and the like can book the advertisement online by paying through our secured credit card payment gateway. We have developed this option due to the requests from readers those who are far from our offices and representatives. We sincerely hope that, online payment system will prove convenient to all.
Decenial Year Celebration
This entire year we will celebrate our decennial year and have spread out at least 10 events, as well as plan to support the needy students and poor families. This entire year will be made fruitful and beneficial for the needy. Further, we also have plans to promote the genuine talent in the field of music, writing, sports and other fields.
Time to time we will announce our promotional plans on daijiworld.com as well as our sister concern media house Daijiworld Weekly.
