Kuwait: Karunakara Shetty Elected Buntara Sangha President

Kuwait, Jan 13: The day began with the prayer by Baby Laxmi K Shetty, followed by the welcome note by the President Karunakar Shetty Ajekala. The Secretary Gururaj Shetty Madoor gave a brief about the programs conducted in the year 2009 to the gathered members.






















Treasurer Tilakraj Shetty Mulki presented the accounts statement. Sangha honored six members who got married recently, without taking the dowry and merit scholarship was given to the children’s for their academic excellence. The President thanked the outgoing committee and welcomed the newly appointed Managing committee members.

The Election Commissioner Divin Menda Bajpe gave the report. The co-ordinators of the Sangha Prakash Shetty Bijantla and Vivek Belman welcomed the new committee which as follows;

Karunakar Shetty Ajekala as President, Chandrahas Shetty Kathalsar as Vice-president, Gururaj Shetty Madoor as Secretary, Pushparaj Hegde Adve as Joint Secretary, Tilakraj Shetty Mulki as Treasurer, Arun Kumar Shetty Bijantla s Cultural Secretary, Sanmathi Menda Bajpe as PRO, Loknath Shetty Kateel as Welfare Officer, Praveen Rai Maroli as Sports Secretary.

After the delicious lunch, the members and the children’s of the sangha entertained the gathered audience. The Certificate of Appreciation and gifts were distributed to the children’s for their participation in the yesteryear programs. Some games and quiz were conducted. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by the secretary and by singing the National Anthem. The program was beautifully anchored by Master Prithvi V Shetty and Surendra Shetty.
