Thanks Shahnawaz, I know this but I asked you because many of muslims doesnt know this. Why to build so many Dargas and pray there if as per Isalm one should not do that. For example Ullal Darga? Why it is like this?

Mr Sudhir/Mangalore, Thank you for ur question. Masjid and mosque are the same. Masjid means place of worship. Dargah is not a place of worship. All muslims go to masjid to offer prayers to Allah and All muslims DONT go to dargah. Dargah is resting place/grave of a saintly muslim and in Islam tomb worship is not allowed. Learned and scholared muslims dont go to dargah. Dargah is a form of sufiism encouraged by mughals, particularly during the rule of Akbar and Aurangazeb who was a scholar was against dargah. Dargah is nothing but tomb worship which is not in the tenets of islam. In masjid, there is no idol or grave or tomb and only Allah is praised and worshiped and in Dargah, Allah is not worshiped but saints are called for mediation and favours, which a true muslim like me disapprove of it. We dont have the dargah of our beloved prophet or his companions or of his family members. Dargah is an innovation into Islam and all innovations are misconceptions and all misconceptions leads to shirk. A true muslim will turn to Only Allah/God for his prayers and supplications and other than Allah there is no one is live to hear us for our demands in this world and after death. God never dies and all the so called saints lying in the dargah have died and motionless. They dont have any power to hear us. They themselves are helpless and seeking the mercy of Allah.

It goes without saying that the good deeds of Al Haj Abdul Jaleel is really highly commendable for the Grand Inauguration of the Masjid-e-Dilshad in Mudarangady on Dec. 11, 09. He is well-known for his philanthropic contributions to the region by way of building free houses for the economically backward and downtrodden masses in the villages, free mass marriages for the eligible bachelors and girls from the poorest of the poor families, running schools for the children from the weaker sections of the society, various other charities and other social work. May Almighty ALLAH bestow Al Haj Abdul Jaleel and his family long life, continued good health, peace of mind and abundant prosperity to further carry on his philanthropic deeds.

A place of worship, irrespective of religion, is a place for communication with our creator. It is a place where all gather to worship and thank Him. Mr. Al Haj Abdul Jaleel & Mr. Halima Sabju have done a marvellous deed by constructing a mosque, by providing a place for gathering the worshippers under one roof. Undoubtedly, God will bless you both abunduntly.
