Dubai, Dec 3: The seventh anniversary celebrations of Emirates Pangalites, an association of Pangalites residing in United Arab Emirates (UAE), will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Pool Side, International Seafarers Center, (Seamen’s Club, Bur Dubai),  Dubai.

A day-long event, ‘Festa Saanth,’ which will include live-band, skits, dances and variety entertainment programmes, will be organized on the occasion.

Emirates Pangalites was established in the year 2003, with the objective of uniting all the Pangalites residing in UAE under one umbrella, and to provide financial assistance to the needy back home, by providing school fees, uniforms, mid-day meals and medical assistance. During the last seven years, Emirates Pangalites have successfully organized unique programmes in UAE and also back home, for helping the poor and the needy, thus living up to their objectives. In the opinion of the current president of the organization, Jovin D’Souza, this was possible only because of the generous support and encouragement provided by the sponsors and the well-wishers.

Preparations are already underway for a grand celebration, and more details will be announced later in Daijiworld.com.
