Abu Dhabi – Nov 19: Konkani Cultural Orgainsation, (K.C.O.) Abu Dhabi’s premier association, is all set for another enthralling year of Konkani Cultural Activities. Following the great success and total sell out of all its events in the last term, K.C.O. takes pleasure in announcing dates of its main activities for this term also much in advance. 

K.C.O. President Gerry D’mello says the reason for this early announcement is for all to mark these dates so that you do not miss out these events. He has urged people to make the best of these opportunities.


K.C.O. Cultural Day – January 29, 2010

In its endeavour to uphold and promote Konkani culture, K.C.O. is organizing the ‘Cultural Day’ on January 29, 2010, for Konkani speaking residents of the UAE, thus providing an opportunity for our budding talented children and adults alike to showcase their  talents in  Konkani singing, dancing, acting (skits), fancy dress and mimicry.

K.C.O. Mangalorean Day – April 9, 2010

K.C.O. Mangalorean Day an annual extravaganza, is a fun filled family day, with live konkani music, dance and entertainment, lucky draws with prizes galore and  sumptuous buffet . This will be held on April 9, 2010. This day will be a fantastic opportunity to meet up with friends and family too.


Behind this event is a great cause. The proceeds of this day go out to the various charitable causes that K.C.O. sponsors with emphasis to Education of children. So do participate and be a part of a noble cause.

K.C.O. Rolling Trophy – Men’s Volleyball & Ladies’ Throw ball Tournaments – November 26, 2010



 

For all you Volleyball and Throw ball enthusiasts, a tournament will be conducted next November 26, 2010.

Entry is open to all U.A.E. residents of Karnataka State.
