Mira Road Parishioners Felicitate New MLA Gilbert Mendonca

Mumbai, Nov 10: The parish priest and parishioners of St Joseph Parish, Mira Road, felicitated their newly-elected MLA Gilbert Mendonca of Mira–Bayandar constituency in a programme held at the parish auditorium here on Sunday November 8. 



Mendonca is the only Catholic among all MLAs elected in the entire Maharashtra state in the recent assembly elections. Mira Road parish priest Fr Dominic Vaz felicitated him on behalf of all parishioners.

The MLA assured that he would try his best to do good for the people. He also asked the people to approach him for help without any hesitation. More than 2,500 people participated in the function.
