Kuwait: Kullvar Rangmanchi Set to Present One More Modern-day Drama

Kuwait, Nov 6: Kullvar Rangmanchi Kuwait, which had successfully staged the play, ‘Mama Marinaka’ at the beginning of the year 2009, in association with Konkani Kulvar Kuwait, has plans to present another modern drama to promote new Konkani artistes as well as to entertain the lovers of the theatre here.

Kuwait Rangamanchi had successfully trained over 18 artistes in the year 2008-09 towards putting up the previous mega show and succeeded in their endeavour. Kuwait Rangmanchi is again looking for new talents here, for their upcoming programme.

The interested artistes will be provided with training in modern drama at a seminar proposed to be conducted for a day. Selected artistes will be trained further, for the presentation of th new play.

Some award-winning plays written by well known writers have been shortlisted by Rancmanchi for this season. These plays are being reviewed now, and the name of the play will be announced, once the same is finalized.

Even though Rangmanchi concentrates on bringing out talents of new artistes, it also welcomes experienced artistes to share their expertise and talents.
