Mangalore, Nov 4:
  Several students from schools and colleges are showcasing their talent at the Kala Sangam-2009, a cultural competition, a 22-day event organized by Mangalore Musical and Cultural Association (MMCA) at Gitanjali at Lower Bendoor here. The competitions that started on October 31 and will conclude with the awards day on November 21.
 


MMCA is an annual celebration with variety of competitions including drawing, music, dance, fancy dress, model-making, mehandi, singing, quiz, elocution and instrumental music among others. The events are held for senior citizens and professionals in various categories.
 
MMCA is a voluntary organization serving music and culture and it is the organization’s silver jubilee this year.
