‘Cha Parka’s’ Super Hit Tulu Play ‘Badkd Uriyinda’ Premieres in Metro

Mumbai, Nov 3:
Dr Ranjan Shenava, veteran medical practitioner and social worker of Dakshina Kannada origin, inaugurated the first show of Tulu play ‘Badkd Uriyinda’ by popular ‘Cha Parka’ troupe in the metro on Sunday November 1.
 
The first show of the super hit play was staged at Dr Vishveshwarayya Auditorium of Karnataka Sangh, Matunga (West), on Sunday.


 
Chandrashekar Palettady, editor of metro-based daily ‘Karnataka Malla’, presided over the programme.
 
Bagwady Mogaveer Mahajan Seva Sangh president Gopal M Putran, Thiyya Samaj president Chandrashekar Belchada, secretary Praveen Shanker B M, and ‘Cha Parka’ director Sharmila D Kapikad were present on the dais.
 
International basketball umpire Manoj Kotian and Karthik Shetty, star of Kannada movie ‘Yuva’, were felicitated on the same occasion.
 
Naveen K Inna welcomed the gathering.  Babu Belchada proposed the vote of thanks.  Karnoor Mohan Rai, Mumbai convener of ‘Cha Parka’ troupe, compered the programme.
