R S Co-op Bank Bags Tops Maharashtra Urban Co-op Banks’ Federation Awards

Mumbai, Oct 29: Rajapur Saraswat (RS) Co-operative Bank was conferred with Top Bank Award by the Maharastra Urban Co-operative Banks’ Federation Limited, for the year 2007 – 08.  The award was presented during the function held at Federation’s auditorium at Bharatiya Kreeda Mandir, Wadala, here on Tuesday October 27.



R S Co-operative Bank bagged the award for the consecutive third year for exceeding annual turnover of Rs 50 crore and also for customer service excellence. Dr Krishna Lavekar, registrar of co-operative banks presented the award to R S Co-operative Bank president Sadanand Kaccheri and director Ramanand Nayak.

Federation chairman Anand Rao Adsool, presided. Federation deputy chairman Shobha Sawant, chief executive and secretary Arvind Deshpande, Eknath Thakur, Gulabrao Shelke, Kailaschand Agarwal, Omprakash Devda, Damodar Mazgaonkar and Vidyadar Anaskar among others were present on the dais.
 
R S Co-operative Bank led by its president Sadanand Nayak has also bagged several awards including Maharashtra State Co-operatiev Banks’ Association and Bruhanmumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks’ Association awards among others.
