Dubai, Oct 27: Ferarites - UAE, a premier, social, cultural and charity organization of parishioners of St Francis Xavier church, Ferar, living in UAE, have proudly announced that an entertaining event, ‘Ferar Fest 2009’ (second annual-cum-fund raising event) will be presented on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Grand Midwest Hotel Apts, Media City(located just opposite to 2nd metro station from Mall of the  Emirates station-adjacent to BBC world News and ARY Digital news-Media City), Dubai, UAE from 11 am onwards. The day-long event is fully loaded with a variety of items like dances, skits, live music, songs, magic, spot games, gift vouchers from Millennium Hotel and Ratsky Club, entry passes for Nellu's super hit Konkani comedy, ‘Bolpo’  and much more, followed by a sumptuous buffet lunch set in the five star ambience.   Black Berry and several electronic items have been included in the impressive list of lucky dip items.

The programme is being conducted by well known compeer, Uttam Menezes, who is known for his skills at mesmerizing the audience with his inimitable style and humour.


Ferarites - UAE is known for bringing out unique programmes and this time too, it has made an honest attempt at bringing out a pool of renowned local talents spread across UAE, said its enthusiastic president, Vincent Pereira, in a communiqué to Daijiworld.  He thanked the media partners for their unstinted support to Ferarites - UAE. 

Popular singers like Dony Correa, Lany Noronha, Asha Correa, Sharon Rego, Shanti Veigus, Rony, Dony, Lolita, Shyna, Mario and several others from Famad Pernal, Pearls of Mangalore and  Shylan Beat Group will be performing during the event. Live dances from Gavin, Delvina and Harmony Music Institute, skits from Pradip Barboza and team (Sangon Mugdana fame) promise to provide full time entertainment to the audience.  Scintillating and foot tapping music will be provided by by Arun Carlo.  Magic show by Anthony Mascarenhas will be an added attraction. 

Walter Nandalike, editor-in-chief of Daijiworld, has kindly consented to be the chief guest of the programme.  Vincent Pereira has thanked  the generous sponsors, benefactors and well wishers in advance for their whole-hearted support, as the main aim of holding this event is to provide entertainment and to raise funds to meet the needs of people belonging to very low income groups, by providing them medical assistance, educational support and shelter.  Its main manifesto is ‘reaching out touching lives’ and he sincerely hopes that Ferarites – UAE, with his and committee’s relentless efforts, would live up to the expectations of the people in the years to come.
