Jubail, Oct 12: It's never been better for cricket lovers. AMACO, which has recently co-sponsored Mangalore United Team at KPL, is all set to launch a new format, new age players and a brand new way of looking at most popular game. 

The Four AMACO Twenty20 competitions held in the past  had provided spectators with plenty of thrilling and emotionally charged moments, making each AMACO tournament a memorable one with astounding fan following. Keeping the trend in mind, AMACO, Saudi Arabia will host sensational tournament AMACO Cricket Carnival 2009 at DCG under the lights here. The inaugural match is scheduled for Thursday October 15.

A grand opening ceremony with film dance and songs and other variety entertainment will be an added attraction. Players will fight it out in 16 over’s floodlit league for AMACO Champions Trophy, 10 over’s floodlit knock out for AMACO Digital Cup and 20 over’s day season ball for AMACO T20. Another attraction of the tournament is the impressive prizes that AMACO offers to winning team and runner up.

Fabulous prizes are offered for man of the match, maximum six hitter, fastest fifty scorer, hat-trick wicket taker in each league match and at knock out levels. Similarly prizes will be given away for the highest wicket taker, highest run getter and man of the series in each tournament,  

Further, based on the performance, cricketers are chosen for Top Ten AMACO Players 2010 and top ranker among the ten will be awarded a gift of round trip tickets to his home country. 

The game will be played as per international standards like free hits, batting and bowling power play.
