KSA: Leaders of Padubidri Jamaat Committee Visit Umrah

KSA, Oct 8: We especially minority Muslims of Padubidri, are taking some supportive steps to cater and encourage religious and worldly education to the children so that they can be ideal and model members of the community and society as well, said Haji S P Ummer Farooq, state secretary, Janata Dal (S), Padubidri gram panchayat (GP) member, member of Karnataka Beary Academy and organizing secretary of Udupi JF Unit.

He was speaking at the meeting specially organized by Panorama, Padubidri-Riyadh Chapter at the Atrium of Bat’ha Half-Moon Restaurant in Riyadh here for greeting him and Haji P M Umer Farooq, president, Padubidri Jamaat Committee and GP, both on a visit to Umrah in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We have now up to standard in Madrassa set up with help of the local Jamaat members and other philanthropists and Jamaat members in the Gulf.  An old Urdu School is being run under the Jamaat Committee, which is currently under construction, he said.



IQRA, a small educational wing comprising few youngsters has been working hard since few months to stop students from dropping out from schools and also bring them under the “Back-to-School” programme, which is now successful. These and other individual development needs to be supported by you, he urged.

P.M.U.Farooq also addressed the audience in the meet and appreciated the help and support the Jamath members and others alike in Saudi Arabia extended for the educational and religious causes. He also requested to have the noble support and hand-outs for the new buildings of mosque and school being constructed within the jurisdiction of Padubidri GP.
 
Rahman Hussain, former president of Panorama-Riyadh, emphasized the importance of Sadaq’ah, and added that the mosques during the spare time can be utilized for the Arabic language learning course that would be helpful for students and adults learn Quran and understand its meaning. Lso prepare them to communicate fluently in Arabic in case they go to Gulf countries to work.

Advocate and journalist P A HameedPadubidri pointed out that any field such as social, political, cultural and economic are blended with the clear guidelines of the Deen (Religion), where there is no scope for any whims and fancies. He urged the need for proper and more guidance and direction to be imparted at the Jamat level to youth so that they follow right path and lead a peaceful life. 
        
Abdul Khader Mayaddi, president of Panorama-Riyadh, Abubacker Padubidri (Al-Mutlaq), secretary and Abdul Khader (Hyundai), treasurer among others were present.

Special meeting

A special meeting to greet the dup will will also be held in Dammam-Khobar by Panorama-Dammam-Khobar Chapter on Thursday October 8 under the leadership of its president Ahmed Hussain and its members.
