Kuwait: CM Yeddyurappa to Inaugurate Kuwait Kannada Koota’s Silver Jubilee Celebration

Kuwait, Oct 6: Kuwait Kannada Koota (KKK) a non-profit organization affiliated to Indian Embassy here is celebrating its 25 years of existence. To commemorate the Silver Jubilee during the current year, it is  planning to host the Karnataka Rajyotsava function which will be held on at American International School, Hawally on November 13. 

Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yedyurappa will grace the occasion and initiate the silver jubilee celbration. State minister for transport R Ashok, Kannada Development Authority chairman Mukyamantri Chandru, deputy chairman, NRI Forum MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik and popular film personalities Srinath and Jayamala among others will be present on the occasion.                         

A daylong cultural and traditional programme will be conducted by KKK members and “Prabhat Kalavidaru” a well known troupe of stage artiste from Bangalore will perform at the programme. The attraction of the events include ‘Kinnara Jogi’, ‘Krishna Leela’, ‘Punyakoti’ and ‘Dharmabhoomi’ to name a few, which provides a unique perspective of India's glorious spiritual traditions.
