KSA: Grand Eid Celebrations Mark the End of Ramadan Festivities

KSA, Oct 5: Eid festival to mark the end of the month of Ramadan with fasting was celebrated grandly and happily throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Different events, gatherings and other festivities were conducted on account of the Eid carnival in different parts of the kingdom. Mosques and idgahs were jam-packed with the devotees queuing up for the special Eid prayers early morning.

Several events and gatherings were held by Mangaloreans on the day of Eid and following days. Karnataka Salafi Association-Dammam-Khobar unit as usual, conducted Eid Koota – 2009 at Al-Khobar, the exotic place of the Eastern Province. The gathering was held at Khobar Islamic Centre Ifthar Tent in Al-Khobar. The function was inaugurated by Moulavi Sadiq Madeeni, a Malayali Daee in Dammam Daw’ah and Guidance Centre.



Abdul Jabbar Madeeni as a guest expressed his Eid wishes and briefed on the Tawheed (Oneness of the God) and Shirk (making partnership with the GOD) and called upon the people to follow the real teachings of Islam.

Hyder Ullal, a Mangalorean Daee, made a profound speech on the topic of Salafi Daw’ah style and its positive implication on the Muslim community. Various programmes and competitions for children and ladies were held. 

The office-bearers and members of Salafi Associations’s units in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam-Khobar, Al Hassa, Jubail and others parts of the kingdom were present on the occasion. A lot of Islamic competitions for the children and women were also conducted and the winners and runners-up were conferred with fabulous prizes.
 
Eid Milan

Gangolli Muslim Jamath also conducted its Eid Milan at Riyadh Half Moon Restaurant at Bath’aa.

The program began  with the Qirath by Fazlu Rehman Kolkar. Tahir M H addressed the audience on the occasion.

Many competitions for the audience present on the occasion were held. Different games and quiz competitions too were organized.

    great, i thought that its like a valima is going on at gangolli, hahahah.. i sow lots of people from gangolli whom i didnot see from last 8-10 years
