Kuwait: Mohan Alva to be Guest of Honour at 'Tulu Parba-2009'

Kuwait, Sep 29: Dr Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva's Education Foundation, Moodbidri, one of the key persons behind World Tulu Convention to be held in Dharmastala and winner of several state and national awards will be guest of honour at Tulu Koota's annual celebrations, 'Tulu Parbha-2009' on Oct 9.

President of Tulu koota A K Ravindra informing the Daijiworld said that Dr Alva's presence will boost all of Tuluvas to work further for the cause of Tulu language. It is sad that UN report has mentioned that Tulu is one of the languages in India that is faciong extinction. The Tulu World Convention organized in Dharmastala will be a real boost to strengthen Tulu language.

Tulu Parbha will be held at American International School Auditorium here. Day-long celebration will start at 10.00 am and continue up to 5.00 pm. India's ambassador to Kuwait Ajay Malhotra will be the chief guest.

    Tulunad da kampun Yel kadal da anchig konodu materegla muttavare Mohan Alveredla Yedde Rayabhari Initta dinottu Yee Bhoolokodu yerla Ippayer.Yeeregla Tulukoota Kuwait da padhadhikarileg Oman/Salalah Tuluverna Shubha kamanelu.{It is hard to find a better Cultural Ambassador on this globe,other than Dr.Mohan Alva, to spread glory of our Tulunad across seven seas.Goodluck to Dr.Mohan Alva and the office bearers of Tulukoota, Kuwait.
