Mumbai, Sep 28: The metro-based Jaiasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (NGO) that strives for the development of undivided Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka, organized a meet to condole the death of late Uloorguttu Vaman Shetty, a veteran Kannada activist, litterateur and teacher in the metro, in a programme held at Nityanand auditorium, Sion (East), here on Friday September 25.
Samiti’s founder member Dr K Sanjeev Shetty garlanded the portrait of the late Uloorguttu Vaman Shetty on the occasion. Samiti founder Tonse Jayakrishna Shetty, president Vishwanath U Mada, former president lawyer Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty and secretary G T Acharya were present on the dais.
Late Shetty’s sons Vikram and Vaibhav Shetty, brother Babu Shetty and other family members were present on the occasion.
