Monti Fest Celebrated at Our Lady of Arabia Church, Ahamadi, Kuwait

Kuwait, Sep 24: Konkani congregation celebrated Monti Feast at the Church of Our Lady of Arabia here on September 18.
 
Celebration started at 5 pm with blessing the rice corn & local produce dates.


 


The blessed corn & dates were taken in procession of children carrying flower baskets, followed by the clergy, parish priest and the assistants.

Parish priest Fr Theo Fernandes celebrated the holy mass.

The festive look in the church compound revived the memories of the celebrations back home in Mangalore.
