Mangaluru: Chethan Mundadi's 'Varnapatala' to be released in February 2020

Mangaluru, Dec 29: Much expected movie 'Varnapatala' directed by national and state award winning director Chethan Mundadi is going to be released in February.

This movie, the muhurat of which was held on September 3 has completed the shooting. Now the editing is in progress. Dubbing work will start in the coming week.

Varnapatala is a movie based on the real-life story which shows the relation between mother and child and also about a disease called 'Autism', which affects children. Renowned actress Suhasini is donning a special role in this movie. The team is trying for a release in February according to director Chethan Mundadi.

Shooting for Varnapatala movie took place in areas of Madanthyar, Mangaluru, Madikeri and Bengaluru. Anup Sagar is the protagonist of the movie. Jyoti Rai of Jogula teleserial is the lead actress. Dhanika Hegde has acted as a child affected with Autism. The cast also includes Chetan Rai Mani, Ila Vittal, Rangitaranga movie star Aravind Rao, television actor Srikant Heblikar and numerious amateur artistes also.

Production and story of the movie is done by Dr Saraswati Hosadurga.and Kavita Santhosh. The lyrics are written by A P Arjun. Dialogues are written by Vinoo Balanja. Music is scored by new talent Harshavardhana. Cinematorgraphy is done by Ganesh Hegde.
