KUWAIT: ‘KWAK’ Celebrates Nativity of Our Beloved Mother Mary.

Kuwait, Sep 16: KWAK Celebrated Monthy Feast Which is the festival of Nativity of Mother Mary on Sep 11, 2009. Huge crowd  of Kanajareans was gathered at the residence of KWAK active member Valerian Rebello.

Program started at 12 noon KWAK President Antony Miranda welcomed the gathered people and Gen.Secretary Mrs. Charlotte D’souza, conducted the prayer which was followed by children offering flowers for the famous Konkani hymn ‘Sakked Sangatha Melyen’.

‘Lourdsachi Zhor’ Kanjar Parishes bulletin which is sponsored by KWAK was inaugurated by Valerian Rebello.  President Antony Miranda thanked all the people who gave advertisements and articles to make it a great success.









Several games were conducted by Treasurer Anil Britto and Ivy Saldanha. Prizes were given to the Winners by the visiting guest Mrs. Lucy Saldanha, Founder President Mr.Lawrence Saldanha, Danis D’souza, John D’sa and vice –President Inas Menezes.

Special food was prepared by Kanajar Parishioners and food was served in a traditional way using ‘Shirothi’ (Flonton leaves). A total of 13 different Verities of Vegetables were served.

Vote of thanks was given by Gen Secretary Mrs.Charlotte D’souza at the end of the program.

    Happy Monthi fest to all KWAK Members. It was nice to see some of the familier faces specially my Brother Denis Dsouza and others Inas Menezes, Lawrence Saldanha, Lucy Bai, Ranganapalke and JB(Jumeirah Daughter Sonia)and all the Kanajarians.
